Why my outlook is not sending emails?
#1
Outlook may be unable to send an email message, despite the fact that it appears to be capable of doing so, due to issues such as emails getting caught in the outbox. Fortunately, you can repair this issue yourself using the procedures provided below. Work through the steps one at a time until your problem is fixed or you've discovered the optimal solution.
Disable Automatic Updates
It is possible that your Outlook is not sending emails due to automated updates. Outlook may abruptly close during the installation of updates, preventing it from sending or receiving emails.
To disable automatic updates, select File > Options > Advanced from the menu bar. Uncheck the box next to Check for updates inside the Automatic Updates section.
Remove Previous Versions of Microsoft Outlook
If you are experiencing problems with Outlook, you can attempt to uninstall any prior versions of the programme. This is due to the fact that older versions can occasionally conflict with newer ones and cause issues.
Find Outlook in the list of installed apps by navigating to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
Right-click on the item and choose Uninstall.
Follow the directions to uninstall Outlook, and then click Finish.
Reboot the computer.
Open Outlook again and see if it now functions.
